It's literally unplayable with the narrator talking over everything i scroll over how hell do i switch it off ? its giving me sensory overload - do ea think people cannot read? its annoying as hell for people with adhd.

It's an accessibility option you were given the first time you booted the game.
You probably skipped it as soon as it hit the screen. 😘
You can also find it later in settings > accessibility > menu narration
My problem is that I've turned this thing off a dozen times and it keeps turning itself back on. It's driving me insane.

This is my problem as well I don't want it on at all. But is still reads the in game chat.
think i found the option to turn it off, its under accessibility, scroll down to Chat, then set 'play incoming text chat as speech' to off. seems to have fixed it for me.
Eat **bleep** you passive aggressive **bleep**, it shouldn't be on by default.
