How to edit the profile in game on BF6 if I bought the game on steam?

As the question asks I am wondering how on earth to edit the profile character because right now it is it is some guy with a shaggy hat and a face mask and I cant find anything anywhere on how to cha...

I was in the loadout looking at specific skins and there is an option to highlight on profile on my Xbox the button whas left joystick

    This. There is a "highlight on profile" when you go to custom, after you select each class.
