How to turn Crossplay OFF for Steam users

Dear Battlefield Community,

This is for everyone NOT wanting to play with Console players at all, personally I have been using this method for 4+ weeks now.
Sure matchmaking might take longer, you may get more lobby's filled with bot's but there's a hell of a lot of players now that have caught onto this and I have had full lobby's daily of PC only players during peak periods.

Remember, if you build it they will come. Meaning if you start a lobby it will not take long at all for it to fill with real players. Just start a session, wait to get into the game, fiddle with your loadouts to pass the time until the server back fills with bots, when people get matched then more will arrive soon.
It's not a total solution for PVP only but it's better than a kick in the groin with a sharp boot.
When they fix the matchmaking them maybe everyone in the session will carry over into the next but it's not like that now. Good Luck.

Here's how: simply go to, C:\Users\NAME\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings\steam

Open with Notepad++ or other text editing app & edit the file called
PROFSAVE_profile

Add this line & save:

GstGameplay.CrossPlayEnable 0

Only the Gods know why the devs didn't simply put a button in the options for this simple thing.
Sure lobby's will take a bit longer , up to 3 minutes but it's better playing against PC players that do not have without aim assist.

Over & out,
Bushy.
