I am extremely disappointed

Hats off to the marketing team, who managed to rebuild a destroyed relationship after the disappointment of BF 2042, only to then really screw us over.

Many players, myself included, have been confidently telling everyone over the past few months that Battlefield is back. And that's how it was. It was clear that the game wouldn't be 100% perfect at release. Almost every Battlefield game has needed some time after release to really come into its own with updates and patches. And that's not a bad thing at all.

But the latest development with S1 is frightening and deeply disappointing.

Season 2 is knocking on our door, and at this pace, we’re going nowhere. Don’t expect any miracles. They didn't even bother to bring back the golden maps from the BF3 and BF4 era. For God's sake, they added that disgusting map, Operation Firestorm. The skins from BF3/BF4 are better than the ones in this game; everything was better in BF3/4 than in BF6. Was it really that complicated to just remaster those two games into one new title? That’s the only thing we ever wanted. You money hungry people, you've raked in so much cash already.

The numbers speak for themselves regarding how many people are actually playing your game; just try not to choke on it. I basically threw 100 euros to the wind. Everything is so busted in this game. The amount of bugs is unbelievable.

  • I haven't given up on this team just yet, as I believe they will come through to make the game much better. Will it become great? Only time will tell but I will be here for the ride. Hopefully! As it stands now, yes, the game in its current state is a mess for me, yet I still play often. My biggest issue is with the sound in the game, as I've posted about many times. Footsteps, vehicles, including helicopters, will have NO sound at all at times, even when someone is right near me. When I can hear them, I can't tell where they're coming from. Sounds of vehicles will often cut in and out when I do hear them. I've died literally thousands of times because of this, and you better believe it's frustrating. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with my sound setup. It's pretty decent, actually. There are others having the same issue with sound in this game, so it's not just me. Of course, there are other frustrating issues with the game.

I've been dedicated to the Battlefield franchise for a very long time, and there is always a bumpy road to travel in the beginning with each new release, but things eventually improve. I truly hope that Battlefield 6 will greatly improve, as it's the only FPS game I play. I want this to be the best Battlefield ever, and it could turn out to be just that after some more polish. I don't care one bit about any other FPS game and haven't played another in over 15 years. Battlefield is my game. Although she tends to **bleep** me off a lot, I still love her! 😁

I know it's frustrating right now, but let's not give up on them just yet! Hopefully they'll get their sheet together!
