Well they implemented the comeback mechanic specifically for players like you, and you still complain.
What a strange response. You are aware that the team specifically stated numerous times they are aware matchmaking isn't working as intended? Also, considering their budget and who EA are, there's no excuse for sloppy programming and poor matchmaking when it's not been this bad in previous titles.
When conquest, breakthrough or new modes like carrier strike last for about 10 mins as opposed to how much attrition and push and pull used to happen across the series, and the advertised 20, it's absolutely something to complain about.

Matchmaking isnt working? Like are you clowns insinuating there should be skill based matchmaking ? 🤣 stg your trying to rly kill this game and cause it to lose all of its players respectfully stop talking about this bs

I’m insinuating that there is some sort of matchmaking behind the scenes that creates stomping grounds every game.
I definitely don’t want skill based matchmaking in the game, as I never had a problem with team balance in any other title.

Like fr bringing anything with skill baed matchmaking would absolutely cause this game to lose all its players similar to cod.. like just stop right there horriable decisions ive had fun and love this game regardless idc its not about winning and your not always gonna win and its warefare your definitely not always gonna win like i dont see your guys logic with this ive had a blast either your rly horriable and only care about winning both or one or the other or yoj just like to complain matchmaking is absolutely fine where its at i can even deal with the bots i fet it when theres 64 ppl in a game just stop complaining and play the game its absolutely fun. Or dont like dont crush it for everyone else.
I mean i mainly stay in these fourms ti try and help make this game fun and not fall off like cod has im a huge fps shooter player when it comes to war games battlefield being my go to always . Cod hasnt been bought by me since 2023 and there are many reasons for that im not trying see my favorite fps shooter have the same fate

Yeah, but were they talking about balance, or the way the lobby fill or fail to? Unless I missed something, it’s never been clear. For example, when they removed the smaller mode, they said it was “to improve matchmaking”: obviously that had nothing to do with balance.
And they’ve also been very cagey about how matchmaking works. They kind of implied there was something beyond ping, but it’s never been clear either.
I think it can be argued they never communicated clearly about balance at any point, despite it being a complaint since season 1. I know some players argue it’s always like this in BFs, and maybe I have rose tinted glasses on, but I don’t remember conquest matches being such systematic stomps in BF4. Whatever it is, it’s long past time for them to start acknowledging the issue and then addressing it.

I've found that matchmaking is the broader issue, with team balance being sat underneath that banner.
I was watching footage from my days on BF1 and V recently to try and remind myself how long matches went on for, and how they felt in terms of balance. The majority I did record back in the day seemed to go on for an average of 20 mins. There was little to no stomping at all.
Im genuinely starting to think that they purposefully made it a stomp fest on BF6, by design, to try and mimic cod. It's a real shame, as it wastes xp boosters, makes modes vastly unenjoyable, and feels like we're not gaining anything from the match. Challenges end up laying incomplete too, purely for that reason.

Frankly, I doubt that. It is more likely that the sum of design decisions that have led to this iteration have resulted in the unbalance.
I know it's been less true with the recent designs, but for example look at how many maps have a tower or a mountain overlooking a large swath of the battlefield. I don't mind 3D spotting, I think it's a great mechanic to foster collaboration, but when one guy can overlook so much terrain, and if they're recon they will auto spot just by roughly aiming at you, one guy is telling they're entire team who's coming and from where.
Same thing for the gunplay. The laser guns are really bad for Battlefield, and they're still laser guns for the most part even after the recent changes. And that means everybody gets to take a shot at you under 100m. I used to see people in the distance in BF4 Golmud and neither would shoot because there wouldn't be a point. In BF6, you see someone, you're fighting for your life. Which is a problem when you're having to rush to try to catch up.
These are just a couple of data points, but there are more. And I just think that those changes, all put together, contribute to comebacks being rarer.
