I don't feel like playing another match

When the open beta dropped for BF6, i was hyped as many others probably were. It felt like battlefield was returning to how BF3 felt like, atleast for me. But now?

It just feels, empty.

Me and my friends play BF6 maybe once or twice a year, cause none of us really feel like playing more than those initial matches.

Yes there are players playing the game, there are now three maps that feel like a step in the right direction, the assignments that started out horribly, HORRIBLY designed and thought out were improved and conquest is the only gamemode that still feels like battlefield(atleast to me).

And yet i'm just not having fun.

Having purchases pushed on me everytime i start the game just sucks all the fun out of the game for me. "Buy the battlepass", "Get BF PRO!", "Limited time cosmetics! Don't you want to buy these limited time cosmetics?". The limited time modes like the recent redbull rallycross run, NVG mode, winter battle in NY, all feel like out of touch planning from management.

And i believe therein lies the problem, Management.

I just wanna put it out there that i don't think the devs are to blame for the choices and priorities made, 99% of the time it always boils down to poor management. I'm convinced that Zampella passing unleashed the full flood of bad managment that EA has brought to most ,if not all, of their modern games.

I'm convinced, and i'm probably the last to this party, that management has learned nothing.

In their effort to maximise profits from the game they have set the game on the path to failure, and without Zampellas' tenure in the games industry(he co-founded infity ward), the devs probably have no one to make management see how their choices affect both player retention and the game itself.

I just want to feel like i felt when i was playing BF3 with my brother and my friends, when i was having fun.

This is just my opinion, and i would love to hear any and all feedback/counter-points anyone has.

    Completely agree.

I played with 8 friends at the start, and we were all very hyped, and Battlefield players of many years.

All have left. I've lingered while I finish season 2, but once I've got that, I'll be leaving for good also.

Empty promises, corporate greed, terrible map priorities, aircraft being neglected, temporary modes, endless hit registration issues, matchmaking failures, the bots and more.

If these companies want more profit they need to learn that listening to the community (the actual community) not management and sure as heck not investors that know nothing of video games is whats going to make them money.  Make good maps with community input, give the community their own servers and ways to assist in banning cheaters instead of an anti cheat that does nothing to any cheaters already  in game.
