I got banned!
I got banned from BF6 for using "gameplay enhancements".
No warning, no suspension, just a permanent ban.
For something so non-specific that I cant even imagine what it is thats being referred to. I've had this EA account since 2013 (Steam account even longer) and in that time I have never had a single warning, suspension or ban (on either platform). I understand that as a blanket statement, they just mean cheats. But let me say that I have never used any kind of cheats or exploits in any online game. I'm kinda bad at FPS games, but I also simply do not care.
If an actual human being looked at my stats, they would see theyre not those of someone cheating. I assume its a false positive, but because there is zero transparency I cannot even tell what was flagged as suspicious and remove it.
On top of this, the process of getting my appeal reviewed is taking weeks. Honestly, I have such little faith in EA that I'm questioning whether I'd bother going back to BF6 if I was able to.
Considering the state of the game currently, the number of blatant cheaters, heamorraging players.. This just feels like a real kick in the teeth.
Hopefully if anyone that can help sees this takes pity, otherwise what is anyone meant to do?
