I was Perm Banned for using the Drone Glitch!

Hey guys, I think this is a serious crime doesn't fit the punishment situation. I regretfully used the Drone Sledgehammer glitch again the day before the Veterans Day patch that fixed it. And I was met with a Perm Ban on my account 😔

I am absolutely terrified. I played the entire Battlefield 2042 battlepass to get the BF6 rewards, I played the Beta rewards, I finished all the Unit/Class assignments challenges (BEFORE NERF), and reached level 114 after over 200 hours. I am shaking and so sad right now.

Please, if anyone from EA is reading this. PLEASE watch my youtube video sharing my evidence and information regarding the legitimacy of my account. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTYLonyz2Uk

The hours I've spent, the live footage I've captured, and the incident in question. We are just a bunch of friends having fun with a broken glitch, there was no harm meant in doing it. Now that its patched I hope to be unbanned and just move on.

Please, sincerely, and kind regards

  • Good. I reported all you exploiters. You knew it was an exploit and still used it?

    Seems very warranted to me.

DaCultivator420 This is extreme for a simple mistake! Should people who used the laser designator glitch be banned? No! It's just supposed to be a fun game, and we use things until they're patched or fixed. I completely regret doing it, I sincerely hope my case is heard. It is so extreme

It's not extreme at all. You exploited and KNEW you were exploiting, by reaching roofs (domination, right?) and proceeded to kill other players in a PVP match.

You cheated, got caught and now you think crying about it will help your case?

The only people who will side with you are other cheaters and exploiters, the rest of the community thinks you got what you deserved.

End of story, hope you learned a lesson.

That mindset is very destructive to those who "exploit" the game in other means you would consider you agree with though. Like launching cars with C4, Jet Ramming or just farming in Portal which is designed in the game? Is that "Exploiting" and cheating the game? Technically right?

This isn't the hill to die on. This is a simple mistake the majority of the community was doing and having fun with Knowing it would be patched eventually. Had I'd known it would be so harsh as a Permanent Ban. I wouldn't have thought it would be so innocent. I think you should reconsider your views on this. Especially those who used the Laser Designator

  • Bottom line you used a known exploit in a game to gain an unfair advantage over other players that's absolutely cheating and you were banned rightfully and you should stay banned. Your not the only one im sure you just got caught and you want to be like no harm no foul. We if I controlled bans I would set you back to zero on everything before it was patched and that''s where you would start. The guys I play with reported that every single time we caught someone doing it.  I'm glad they fixed it means they are working on getting people like you out of there game. Good Job EA.

This simple mistake has cost me a lot of gaming time, because f**** Sniper was cheating ( it is Cheat!!!!) and I do spent Double of time for Level Up Weapon and so on.

Yes it was funny staying on Manhattan Bridge? For me not!

  • I feel a tiny bit sorry for you but not much.

Jack Frags when 'discovering' it didn't use it to get kills. He knew it was wrong and didn't do it.

You did, I assume - no I'm not going to give your vid free views to check! - and you suffer the consequences.

As someone who was warning people doing it, then reporting them when they refused to stop (and usually they gave lots of abuse in the process) I'm glad to hear EA/DICE actually taking action.

    So... sorry, not sorry.
