Regarding point 2, there's an ini setting that you can disable to remove the DOF effect.
Navigate to the folder C:\Users\PC\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings.
Open the PROFSAVE_profile file with a text editor. Search for the key "WeaponDOF" and change the value from 1 to 0.

Even if I set that value to 0, it doesn’t seem to apply. I’ve heard that typing 'postprocess.dofmethod 0' in the console commands every match will disable it. But I think this should just be an in-game option to turn this on or off.
To be honest, I don’t really understand the benefit of forcing this option on in a PvP FPS in the first place.
