I have an ongoing issue where the social menus do not appear when pressing "TAB" or clicking any of the pannels. It shows I have 0 friends and no messages. I can invite and join through the steam overlay, but cannot connect with friends who purchased this game through the EA luncher. I have had this issue since the beta - hopefully this post helps tech teams solve this issue

ps5 here. still no luck. I have been playing since release. It has worked for 3 days only. seems they don't want to fix it. this is a very important feature

I also had the same problem on PC. To solve it, I opened the game folder (from the EA app), right-clicked on the "bf6" application and selected "Properties". Then, go to “Compatibility” and select "Run this programme as an administrator" in "Settings". "Apply" and "OK". I restarted the game and the social menu was finally available.
I don't know what caused this annoying problem, but let's hope EA and Dice can fix it in their own way.
