battlefield 6 - worst battlefield of all time

Yeah. I mean, I thought I was having fun, but when I read through your points, I can’t really argue many of them. Experiencing a lot of the same—especially TTK and I absolutely feel the maps aren’t big enough. When I think of a battlefield, it should be big enough so that little skirmishes are happening in geographically dispersed areas—not just one central chaotic clump, where you can have an almost immediate direct impact on any given one. This point may be a little dramatic, but I just don’t think the areas are big enough. 

yh we aint trippin!!! but i feel like ive paid £60 just to be deaf ,,,i want my money back i never asked for this i need to HEAR . I look like a dopey **bleep** stood in a warzone whilst knitting , even when im in a box room ,under cover or in a shed , no directional audio or cues no footsteps and where was that person u just outlined 1 step to my left that i did not walk past and he wasnt even there when i checked 0.0000087 of a second ago!!!!!!!!! god forbid another player gets a hits marker with a shotgun but mine shoot invisible bean bags !! BULL **bleep** !...............still better than callofpoopy tho aesthetically and player base wise , asualkt rifles need to be able to shoot straight like a carbine and a smg ...game does kinda feel cheap after listing all of its main issues , i havent even mentiond the other issues but these matter most !!! we need kill cam , i think ur hiding cheaters or ghost bots that are made to kill u on the spot ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! dont forget everyone can see you the second you leave cover but it takes literal nearly 2 full seconds to give you the red indicator above an enemy, or u put 3 bullets into somebody and they what feels like 1 shot you with a assault rifle against my smg which is 4/5 shots with the mp5 . not my ping not my internet never had this issue before now, but hey yhh deffo prob my internet, my wired 150m/s fibre is deffo the problem .... sure well done ea,, for **bleep**ing up a good title after an an astonishing beta and launch

This post is wrong. It's the BEST in a long time. End of. consistently hitting 350-400k still on STEAM alone, not to mention console and EA. Your take is just bad. There is a problem and that's the **bleep** storm that is Portal. 

I love how this post is wrong, because he doesn’t mention Portal and because the game is popular?  You literally said nothing, Ronald, other than emphasizing your distaste for Portal. 

BF 2042 is better than this.

BF6 is a game EA made to get CoD players to come over. It’s all CQB where SMGs are way OP. Square maps that force players to run in circles with the SMG or AR. Obstacles in every direction. LMGs completely useless.

Where is the "Battlefield"?

These Maps/shoeboxes are pathetic. They foster camping and sniping, not flanking  maneuvering, capturing objectives. 

The scale of battle is tiny, vehicles have very little if any room for maneuvering/flanking. The whole game feels like a chaotic TDM, not Battlefield. TTK/TTD, just too fast. Map size is atrociously small.  It's not a bad game, but it's not what I was expecting. It's  not my idea of a battlefield game, more infantry/meat Grinder/TDM. 

The game doesnt compell me to play it like other battlefield games tbh. It's more frustrating than entertaining. ie: not really fun unfortunately. There is a good game in there, but it's not a Battlefield game in my opinion. 

TTK is one thing of BF that I never liked. In 2042 I created my bot maps with 1.5 damage and no auto repair on vehicles. This made the game more realistic, did not take half a mag to take down one person. Depending on hit placement, killing vehicles took 1 to 2 missiles as it should. I hated the long reload time in 2042 with vehicle regeneration on as I would run out of missiles as they were auto healing. 

When they finally fix Portal, I hope they add ability to increase damage into the verified maps. It is only available to "custom" maps that you have to build out manually. Stupid.

personally i love BF6, is it perfect nope but its a lot better then 2042, vehicles are not like paper, and yes if 2-3 engineers gang up on a single tank then yes they can take it down quickly, which is what should happen, no tank should be able to single handedly win a full scale battle, the same as 1 engineer  should not be able to one man destroy a tank.

maps sure are not that typical massive Gulf of Oman style, but chaotic is the BF style, from bf3 Op Metro and BF4 Op Locker two of Bf best loved maps, im sure that larger maps will follow in the coming sessions. i for one would love to see larger maps as well as the smaller ones return. people need to remember that the way a game progresses is to include all types of play, and that means the smaller more built up maps.

SMgs are pea shooters, lol, all i die from are people using SMGs from almost any distance from close to medium range they kill quickly and imho need some serious mid range damage nerfs, same goes for the shotgun its longer range damage is to high.

snipers well this i can agree with, i think that BF6 has the worst sniper mechanics of all the BF games I've played since BF3, its also the hardest one to get to grips with imo, I've never struggled to get ok with a single sniper in BF but i simply don't bother in BF6 as its just not worth the annoyance i get while playing as one. don't get me started with One Shot Mechanic, its buggy at best and completely broken at the worst, kill one guy with one shot in the sweet spot and then shot another at the same exact distance and a hit marker? i just cant deal with that, should just be hit the head kill the target simple as that.

I’ll touch on just a few of your points.

• The sniper class is still very viable and can 100% one shot torso. There’s a sweet spot (as in distance) where your scope glint will have a rainbow shimmer effect around it. I’ve found this to be somewhere between 75-100m. When this effect is there, you will one shot torso torso. Personally a big fan of this change as it removes the super easy one shot kills to the torso as soon as you move around a corner and a sniper is holding 5m away. Obviously headshots still one shot at any distance. 
  
  
• SMGs are the weapon type I’ve played the most, and so far I’m close to mastery 50 on the SL9 because I love the dang thing. I was disappointed with some of the SMGs, mainly the MP7 as I loved it in the beta but it felt different in the full release, but as long as you find one with a fire rate you like I’ve found it’s easy to get kills out to around 80m with any of them. 
  
  
• I’m with you on the vehicles and hud though. More than once I’ve been killed by somebody hiding behind the “A Point” attack marker on my screen. 
  
  
• Lastly I feel map size is extremely subjective to taste. There’s some nights where I’m craving up close and personal fights, so I’ll search for a game with filters in place for specifically those maps. Other nights I want to snipe, so I’ll filter games on Operation firestorm or somethin. The search feature they added is a blessing so you really can just play maps with a size you enjoy. If we’re just talking in general, yes BF6 went smaller with their maps, but I’m one of the people who believed that one of the biggest issues in BF2042 was the wide open spaces of nothingness. I personally like the change to smaller scale. 

I agree with some of your points.  I think BF6 is a big improvement over BF2042, but it doesn't dethrone BF3 or BF4.  I don't like either of the NYC maps, but I'm fine with the others for now.  With the current maps being small, the constant chaos gets to be much after a few hours.  To me, all the maps feel the same, except for Liberation Peak.  Hopefully they release larger maps in the future like Golmud Railway.

As someone mentioned earlier, the directional audio is terrible.  You can't tell where someone's footsteps are coming from.  The audio from earlier battlefield games was great.  Anyway, I think BF6 is a step in the right direction.  When BF2042 was released, I thought the series was doomed for good.
