Jungle map or Dense Forest!

Honestly, I’d LOVE to see a Battlefield 6 map with a Vietnam-inspired vibe.

Dense jungles, rivers and rice fields, small villages, underground tunnels, huge helicopter battles, ambushes through the trees, and that gritty Vietnam-era atmosphere — but still built around Battlefield 6’s modern gameplay.

Imagine a large-scale map where the fighting moves from a jungle firefight, to a village, to a river assault, with helicopters providing air support overhead. That could be absolutely insane.

Please consider it, DICE!

Yeah, I honestly agree with a lot of what you’re saying. I’ve also played Battlefield for many years, and the helicopter farming can make the infantry experience incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re trying to play the objective and feel like you’re just target practice for aircraft.

The SOFLAM situation is especially annoying. You’re trying to help your team deal with air vehicles, but the moment you use it, you can basically paint a giant “KILL ME” sign over your head, while sometimes you can have a helicopter right in front of you and your AA simply won’t lock on.

That said, I still think we’re allowed to hope that DICE can make a jungle map that actually works for infantry. The Pacific maps in BFV showed that you can have huge maps with an incredible atmosphere and some vehicles without turning the entire experience into vehicle farming.

Give infantry proper cover, trenches, caves, bunkers, dense jungle and objectives that aircraft can’t simply erase with one pass. Let helicopters have their role without making infantry the food source for them all match.

I’ve been playing Battlefield for years too, and I really want the infantry experience to improve. I don’t think the answer is removing vehicles completely — I just want the game to remember that there are a LOT of infantry players who should actually be able to enjoy the map as well.

So yeah, I’m still hoping. 😂 If DICE ever does a Vietnam-style jungle map, please give us an actual infantry battlefield and not a giant helicopter buffet.

DICE would do it then add 5 attack helos and little birds PRR TEAM  and have the objectives only  placed on jungle clearings so the pilots could rack up the kills. You know, because that’s all infantry are in BF6. Fodder for Helos.

Oh and of course they’d not place deep trenches or concrete bunkers on the objectives because heaven forbid if a helicopter can’t clear the entire objective of all enemy infantry in a single strafing  run.

You think I’m being being sarcastic, but I’m really not.  This totally sounds like what Neu dice would do if they decided to go with the jungle map instead implementing something along the lines of the Pacific maps in BFV.m  where it’s an  infantry experience on HUGE maps  with a few vehicles here in there.  Neu DICE would find a way to ruin it for infantry by adding even a single attack aircraft per team.

They’ve lost the plot. The vast majority of players on every single map are infantry players yet the entire experience seems to be built around helicopters farming infantry the entire match.

I’ve been playing battlefield for 25 years and I’ve never seen it this terrible. It’s just constantly being farmed by helicopters. go AA the whole match. Nope. I see a helo right in front of me 20 yards away and I can’t lock onto them with my anti-aircraft . I run SOFLAM the whole match nothing!!  still I turn a SOFLAM on and I have five aircraft zero in on me and they’re blowing me up seconds later because know right where I am.
