Larger party ques

I have a group of folks that i play with that's around eight people its pretty rare that we are all on at the same time, but on the rare occasions that we are why would it be so bad for all of us to be able to que in as one big party so we can all play together? no one in my group is crazy good, I'm by far the best player and I'm only a 1.6 kd. It'd just be really nice to be able to play all at once and together.

I wouldnt go over eight that i could see being really unfair with a team of try hards. Eight seems to me to not be too terrible.

Also can you add indicators to people that show whos in whos groups both on your team and the other side? I dont mean just squads but also whos playing together.

  • I would say go to the private server.  not the pub server where most people want fair play and competitive matchups.  The fact you really have to ask this shows you don't care about such things.  If you are a football fan,  you should treat online video games with the same respect.  Just like you would balling at your local park.

Squads used to have 5 and 6 players. So, it was possible to run with larger groups. We would regularly have 2 full squads, since we had 40+ people in our clan. When you run a clan, you have to field a full team for matches so you end up gathering a lot of players together. It can still be fair, because you don't know who's on the other team. They might have a few great players as well. We already see groups of great players. It all works out. And if Battlefield can ever get competitive again, we would start seeing clans roaming the servers again. It would be a good thing if that happened.

EA struggles with the whole ideology of competition, they seem to want the game dumbed down, no one talking about cheaters, no one able to form larger squads or clans. But competition would bring all that to the fore. We would have to be talking about cheaters and talking about specific cheaters. And we would need to be able to field larger groups and maybe even larger squads. Those things are part of competition play. EA is a bit of a soft-touch at the moment.

CooloutAC - Pretty bad call and out of line. Wanting to play with mates doesn't mean he doesn't care about fair play, nothing to do with it. It's up to other players to step up and put in a greater effort if they feel challenged.

its only fair when you know who is on the other team brother.   lol.   When I would join servers like texas teamplayers,  in pubs for example they would have the same server mods as the cs community had.  and they would autobalance teams.  in cs you also had vote shuffles,   and in bf and cs we usually played with friendly fire on.  and players would just switch teams when you asked.  I mean all you literally had to do in chat was say  the word "TEAMS".  and the top players would shuffle themselves.   Just like people would in real life.     I mean hey if you are not a competitive player and don't believe in fair play and competitive matchups,  thats cool.   But I think most gamers do.  No human being has fun playing against noobs,  and no human being has fun losing against pros.   SO you will never concince me,  or most of society otherwise brother.  Because its human nature and thats why noone needs proof.  God blessed with that gift of sense and it applies to sports too.
