M277 damage balancing request
The M277 feels underpowered versus other assault rifles because its damage per shot is too low for its 720 RPM. I’m fine with its rate of fire and handling; the issue is damage. In equal-skill 1v1s it often loses on DPS/TTK to M4-class rifles even when aim is solid. Request: raise M277 base damage to 30 minimum, up to 35 max depending on range profile, while keeping rate of fire and handling the same. This preserves its controllable mid-range identity but fixes the lack of stopping power, and better reflects a 6.8 mm platform versus 5.56 rifles. Context: the stock 20-round magazine and current damage make the weapon unforgiving in trades. A modest damage bump would make it competitive without pushing it over the top.
