I do agree, a lot of the maps do feel very meatgrindery.
What doesn't help besides some of the map designs is the fact that at the moment, a lot of people don't seem to understand how much room they have on a lot of different mode configurations, that or they just seem to enjoy throwing their bodies into the fray.
There have been entire matches thrown 180 because me and a group of people on the same page will do super wide flanks and disrupt the backlines of the meatgrinder area, which is a lot of fun, but also feels a little sad when your squad seems to be the only one with the intuition to do such a move.
The majority will always pick where ever the most action is and hope to push through, which is certainly fun in a way, but sometimes entire matches will be thrown because everyone auto pilots towards the hot zone.
I hope in the future maps will take into account where those areas are and some how encourage people to look for other lanes or tactics besides the usual chokes.
