Meet the Champions&Heroes of the EA Forums

Hello everyone,

As I'm sure is incredibly obvious from my forum name, I'm Elliot.

I've been playing video games since the mid-to-late 90s, but I've been playing Battlefield since buying Battlefield 1 on a whim back in 2016. I've been hooked on the series ever since and have played and enjoyed Battlefield 1943, Bad Company 1 & 2, BF3, BF4, and of course, BFV and BF2042 over the years. Apart from Battlefield, I mostly play single-player games with the occasional co-op one thrown in for variety.

I've been a user of the EA forums (then Answers HQ) for around 8 years now, and joined the Community Connections Programme as what was known at the time as a Champion (Hero nowadays) in 2020, before becoming a Hero (now Hero+) in 2021. In 2023, I was given the opportunity to become a Guardian Volunteer Moderator, and some of you may remember me from moderating the Battlefield Answers HQ forums before the migration to this current one, when that role ended. I was also very active on the old Battlefield forums as a regular user before they were closed in favour of AHQ, so some of you might originally know me from there as well. Occasionally, I'll also help out with moderating on YouTube and Twitch for EA events or Battlefield streams, as well as sometimes writing FAQs for Battlefield and helping on a few of the other general discussion boards here. 

On a slightly more personal note, I love music and have played in several bands over the years (I won't subject anyone to the music), and used to write a lot too before developing insurmountable writer's block. I'm also a cat lover and have fostered in the past as well as having a few as pets (the one in my profile picture is a foster-fail actually). 

I hope that everyone is looking forward to Battlefield 6 as much as I am, and I can't wait to get killed by you all in matches. Just don't forget to t-bag me.

You may not recognize me but I probably have 1 or 2 dogtags with your name on em sitting in my collection spanning back to Bad Company (Nothin' personal; it's just too much fun). I'm a huge Souls, NHL, and Kojima fan too so let's chat and have fun!

Been on AHQ and the EA forums for, oh, a decade or so now, wow. If i'm being honest, I just wanted the special AHQ Dogtag for Battlefield but I suppose being able to help folks out here and sometimes on Youtube chat and Twitch is pretty nice too :P Super stoked for BF6 and hope y'all are too. Let's make this one extra special, eh?

Hey, I used to be a HERO lol - I am a seasoned Vet now, as (like most) I was hit n miss on interactions on the forums (life happens huh!)

I'll be about occasionally.  I assume a lot of seasoned BF folks are coming back out of the wood work this time round.

To the Post:  Yeah great to see you again all active - I have definitely played and nabbed tags off you multiple times... lol.  Our squad had Seagulls as our avatar images "Steven Seagull" ... lol so we may be memorable through previous titles.

Also played every single BF title since inception.  (Still have CDs on the shelf for most of the older ones)
