Mini-map spawn failures are common

I  am estimating that 20+% of the time when I try to spawn on a control point, another squad member, or friendly vehicle, the spawn fails to complete.  I am not talking about spawns where you can't spawn (fighting, enemy nearby, etc.) but normal spawns.

If the spawn fails, I close the mini-map using ESC and then reopen the mini-map.  By doing this, 90+% of the time I can then spawn on the point, squad member, or vehicle.

Please fix this or tell me what I might be doing wrong.
