Yep.
They ruined BF5 by starting development as a BR. Eventually changed direction, but still messed up the implementation of the core game. It eventually became an average experience, but I didn't play it because BF1 was so much better.
They utterly ruined BF2042 by making it a hero shooter. No more needs to be said about the very many other ways it was bad.
They are ruining what could have been a half decent BF6 by tainting every aspect with BR-related money-grabbing rubbish (and all the bugs and bad design).
I actually enjoy the BR. Ironically, the players often exhibit more tactical and squad gameplay than in the core game, though perhaps I shouldn't be surprised given how they've made the core game so CoD-player friendly.
They couldn't help themselves. EA are a greedy corp and DICE aren't Battlefield players shrug.
Bf1 was the last true battlefield game.
I can't help but feel things like explosives been weak, maps narrower, hip fire been promoted are so cod players don't play and leave, I think Vince knew exactly what he was doing.
