Every death was to a heli, you can't lock them fast enough to worry them- it's a joke being above ground.

Get to the chopper!
Many players (most players) feel the way you do. Unlikely anything major will be done about it. Expect bug fixes followed by micro nerfs only. Fingers crossed when you buy BF7, maybe things will be perfect then??
Your first mistake was to rely on lock on to deal with any decent pilot.
Unguided or aim guided missiles are the way to go

PS: Any time you think you see too many vehicles, you are playing the wrong mode or game for you.
Ive noticed recently once a heli is a pain in the a** everyone goes after them and they dont last long.
well, just played Contaminated and as usual the game was overflooded with choppers, and NO decent AA present. Those noobs just hang on our spawn, goin up dowd, flaring like hell, and just spawnkill you. It's the same OP **bleep** as 2022, at least in BF4 you had decent AA but now choppers and planes are just too OP te handle.
