Our idea Of crossplay options is wrong

Stop hold it youre making too much sense alltough i dont think that many on consoles uses mouse is there some for sure but its minority most are just like couch dads

I play on PC with controller, mainly cause I switched for MnK back in the the original BF and CS days to controller when I started playing some later releases on Xbox.  Now Im just used to it and prefer it.  That said, I would love input based matchmaking like other games have so I can play vs other controller players...just not sure the game has the population for that now.  Its not the end of the world to be controller vs MnK with the current settings, but Im sure most would like to put this conflict and ever changing settings to rest.   Frankly I think the dollars would be better spent fixing their damned servers, hit registration and matchmaking issues

Atm, I play infantry with M&K and I no longer have a flight stick and I find the controller a better option to fly helis and aircraft with.
How do we matchmake these players?

I would think we need to ask the devs to disable alt. inputs if a player is choosing to play with a certain matchmaking input setting?
We can not allow the circumventing of using M&K for infantry and then use a controller to fly as this would allow the players to just to bail out of the vehicle and continue on as an infantry player while using a controller.  

I would love to lock this down and see the devs actually fix this.

I’ll say this until I get the impression nobody else thinks the same way: I don’t care whether people play with a controller, m&k or whatever. I know some claim crossplay is behind all the desync and hitreg issues the game occasionally has. But, as a casual player who plays only for fun, my experience with the game doesn’t change at all when I turn crossplay off. Splitting up players by input or anything else will just increase queue times and fill lobbies with bots—which I don’t like. So, in my view, there’s no problem to fix here.

Kindofsec​ I get it brother.  But as you mentioned you're more of a casual player so it makes absolute sense to no care who you face. However the competitive players have a completely different view. Thanks for commenting

As you said you do not mind what players use but, there is many players who do mind.
Why not give the players options to play?
We do not know how the matchmaking will go if we do not at least try it.  I say its worth a try and if it fails it can be reverted back.

I cant say for mouse side but i know for sure that there would be enough controllers to keep that side alive and well for years as on ps5 its 7th most sold game right now obviously we dont have the dirrect numbers as Sony isint trasparent but its going toe to toe with cod so it cant be bad this really would be the secound best thing to console to console the spite on both sides is just too much for the current system to be worth while

dv8Maker​ I use mnk for competitiveness preferably vs other mnk users and controllers when I want to take it easy. But you're right battlefield 6 is practically dead season 5 didnt buzz as season 4 did. But in the next battlefield if there's a next this fix should be the layout
