Please bring back Operations from BF 1

For me personally, the best mode across all Battlefield games has been the Operations mode in Battlefield 1. It was just on another level in terms of immersion. The fact that you had a shared objective across multiple matches made everything feel more meaningful, and it created a connection to your team and the enemy team. You fought with and against the same players for hours, and that built a sense of familiarity and rivalry that made the whole experience much better.

This is something I really miss now that we don’t have persistent servers. There’s no reason to stick around on a server because you have a good squad or a fun team. Everything feels more anonymous, and I don’t think that should be the goal for a Battlefield game. Just like in real life, you should form bonds with your teammates and even your enemies by going through tough losses and great wins together.

I also really loved the version of Operations where every team had to use their country-specific standard-issue service rifles. That was such a good addition. It gave everyone a level playing field and made the battles feel fair and grounded.

I would love to see something like that make a comeback. The mix of large-scale battles, persistent teams, and more grounded loadouts made Battlefield 1’s Operations feel special and should return.
