Please don't step in front of a firing player...

Look, if someone has the angle to fire from, don't step in front of them and start firing, because it has 2x very negative impacts-

  1. You block the player behind view and soak up some of his bullets making them less effective.
  2. If the enemy fires at you, the enemy gets 2x kills for the price of one as the bullets go through you and the player you stood in front of. A single bullet will easily pass through 2-3 player all lined up.

Need an angle? Move to the side\ prone or re-position to somewhere else... I would recommend somewhere else as you make a larger easy target if you group up.

Just so you know, Painknight, blocking someone in this game just stops them from contacting you. It won't actually prevent them from being in a match with you.

  • I end up leaving squad because of this, because the CoD players can't breath unless they are sprinting towards the action .00002 seconds after they spawn.  They'll run right in front of you and block your shots because they can't be bothered to read the situation or think for half a picosecond about what they're doing.

I make sure to block and report them as well, just to be sure I never have to deal with them again.

  • Agreed, it can be annoying. This is mostly why I've change to penetration bullets, as they go through teammates.
