Please Keep Bot Support in Battlefield 6—Some of Us Need It

Hey everyone,

I know bot support isn’t everyone’s priority, but I wanted to speak up for those of us who genuinely rely on it to enjoy Battlefield.

For me, bot modes aren’t just filler—they’re a way to engage with the game’s mechanics without the stress of toxic lobbies, unbalanced matchmaking, or the pressure to perform. Sometimes I just want to relax, explore maps, experiment with loadouts, and enjoy the atmosphere without getting steamrolled or flamed.

I get that PvP is the heart of Battlefield for many, and I’m not trying to change that. Having the option to play solo or co-op with bots makes the game more accessible and enjoyable for a wider range of players—especially those dealing with even mild social anxiety, burnout, or just wanting a break from the grind.

Battlefield 2042’s bot support was a step in the right direction. I hope EA continues to support that kind of flexibility in BF6. It’s not about replacing multiplayer—it’s about preserving choice.

I’d really like to see a solo Conquest mode where you could play exclusively with ai bots return in Battlefield 6, much like that one that was in 2042

    I understand and agree. I actually prefer PvE modes these days. The co-op mode in Battlefront II is the only reason I've played it so much. Some people choose to get really offended by this harmless preference.

    I completely agree, dude. People act like it’s a personal affront if you bring stuff like this up. I’m glad you’re reasonable.

    It would be great if the developers added modes similar to Battlefield 2042, where you can play against AI bots and still have normal weapon and bonus progression just like in PvP multiplayer. Also, being able to create Portal playlists with different maps and game modes, with full progression, would be awesome. I hope we get some info about this soon, even though I guess it’s not a top priority right now.

    Ppl get bent out of shape because bot lobbies will be abused by some to grind for progression really fast to unlock everything and then those people will switch back to multiplayer. I'm personally not entirely sure why that matters but I hope you get your bot lobbies friend, and I hope we get hardcore lobbies as well.

    +1 Hope this is an experience in the game and is not a pain to host something like this locally.

    Yes Please Bring this back. I get that we can create our own portal experience with bots. But I have only been able to do this once since launch due to the global game quota exceeded error. It says I can run a custom experience locally but then The XP is locked. 
    Additionally I could not set a bot difficulty level in the portal experience. When I was able to host my experience, The bots were way too easy to defeat.

    I play in online lobbies now and then. However with 2042 I was more happy to just play against bots along with a friend of mine in co-op. This is because we are old gamers from Medal of honour Allied Assault/ Call of Duty and Call of Duty Spearhead/ Battlefield 1942/ Battlefield desert combat mod and battlefield Vietnam. WE Miss how Simple, Fair and unrealistic those games were. No Levelling up and no unlocks. Those Classic games were so much more fun than what we have now.

    So Please Bring back the option to play Solo/Co-op against Bots with a difficulty Level. 

    And Where have the Clans Gone? Do they even still exist? Don't even see any in game chat anymore. (And Yes I do have the settings enabled.) The unfiltered banter is gone :( Something else that made online gaming so much fun. If there's anyone left from the Noisy **bleep** Clan Let me know and we'll hook up. I Used to be .:NB:.Willco or ((<NB>))Willco.

    Anyway Rant Over, I feel old now, trying to force others to relive my glory days ha ha. You swear to yourself when your young that I'll never be like my parents saying: "Back in my day" But here we are lol.
