I agree voting on the next map would be great.
What I don't agree with is Portal.....
At this time a person could create the most epic and unique battlefield experience in Portal that could be loved by millions for a company that will not pay that person nor recognize that person and possibly take that idea and use it in a seasonal update or next installment of the game.

if a map or experience is added to the official rotation, why not on the loading screen having some details like the creators name, link or something like that recognising the good work?
They are not going to pay them for making a map or experience, it’s not logical to do that so I feel a shout out experience would be best.
I know some people have remade original maps from other BF games, when I say remake, I mean the layout because some of the maps have all the layout set right but the walls are bland concrete, no actual detailing has been added so more is needed within portal to flesh out the maps more and add detailing.
I know its fair..... thats why I killed portal.
