You've been big-upping the new portal mode in BF6, saying how mucch tyou can do and create, yet everytime you want to try to host somethign you have made - ERROR GLOBAL SERVER LIMIT REACHED!!!!!

I agree 100% We need to run our "OWN F'n SERVERS" like we could in BF3. I ran bf3 dedicated server for 3 years! This is BS that we have to rely on a game developer to connect to their game!! NUFF SAID!!!
At least make those of use that purchased the Phantom Edition for 100.00 have priority, or option for paid servers through Nitrado or somewhere. We had our large group up and going then no one could connect even when it was running. Now we can't retart it and are scattered. 100.00 for a headache.
It would be nice to have some feedback from anyone at EA about this - SimGuruArvin EA_Habutai Vaangan or anyone else. IS there any update on when you expect us to be able to start using our creations? Or do we have to just watch your favourite sponsored streamers do their thing with them when none of the rest of us can use it!
I have a 'Host Locally' button when trying to host a Portal server -- I just clicked on that and the game started a minute later.

Agreed. We had the number one hardcore server in the world for 4 years in bf3 and bf4. When they took away our servers after bf4, we switched to call of duty. We came back in 2042 to the joke that is portal. We ramped up for a new improved portal, and we have a server that is full all the time but its host is in another country so our pings are all 120 or higher, ridiculous. When we try to get a second iteration going to try for a better ping, no matter what time day or night we try, we get that stupid error.
Here is the rub, they basically promised we would have a better experience, but it’s more frustrating than before because we expected it to be better. We have always touted live admin, but we can only have the host admin which is ridiculous. We still do offer it but we have to call the host when we need one. We should be able to have multiple admins. We should be able to start a server without wasting hours if our lives spanking that button. They should have enough servers up, that it can handle all these portal servers. Servers that use their standard settings should get preferential treatment. They should offer an option to pay for vip ability at the very least.
But in the end, we need our 3rd party servers back. We had a programmer that made our bf4 server insane. Type admin it literally paged all admin phones. VIP slots were sold to pay for the server costs. It was amazing, and then they decided to stop I assume because they didn’t want to share their code, which is stupid because the server companies wouldn’t do that, they were making bank. Bottom line, I would pay $120 a month right now to have a server I didn’t have to be as lucky as a lotto wonder to get started. This is a joke and they aren’t acknowledging it at all. Which tells me, they simply do not give a **bleep**. Like call of duty learned after bo6, they will lose their supporters eventually, and they will be the joke, just like cod is right now.
Ya I miss my BF3 server days. We had a admin mod that gave us all the tools we needed like, Ban, kick, Map Voting, message users, and a AFK mod so we could auto kick a player lets say after 5 mins. and more. We can't do ŠH|T whats in the BF6 portal that we have now. WOW! how things have change. SNIFF SNIFF! :(
This entire system is an absolute disgrace! I've spent an entire week trying to set up a simple Conquest server to test weapons and learn the vehicles, and what do I get? The same worthless, infuriating error: "GLOBAL LIMIT EXCEEDED."
I can barely manage to host a four-player lobby, but it's useless—it doesn't populate with bots and the round won't even start! I don't care if there's only one bot running around! I just want to test gear, I have zero interest in the XP-farming garbage that 98% of the other servers are running!
I'm sick of the abysmal systems they have in place. If we can't even get a basic custom server to function, then for God's sake, GIVE US A PROPER TEST RANGE! Stop wasting our time!
