Predictions for Season 2
First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the previous posts. Let's continue our discussion.
Battlefield 6 currently has around 30,000 to 40,000 daily players, and with the long gap between Season 1 and Season 2, a large portion of players have already left. During the Season 2 closed beta, I already felt that Season 2 wouldn't be able to reach the player count of Season 1. From my personal perspective, I think the new maps are very mediocre, even likely to be heavily criticized. Secondly, the upcoming skins are indeed slightly better than those from Season 1, but far inferior in quality to Battlefield 2042 skins. Haha, isn't it interesting? A once heavily criticized pure multiplayer competitive game now looks so polished. I estimate that the peak daily player count for Season 2 will be around 140,000 to 160,000, dropping to around 40,000 to 50,000 by mid-season. I don't want to elaborate on the reasons for so many player losses; we EA forum users all understand. No matter how much we try to persuade them, if DICE remains obstinate, things will only get worse.
