Prone movement does not fit the pacing of the game

There's people that want the game to be much slower and people that want the game to be much faster and some think it's just fine. Regardless of which category you may belong to, the current prone movement feels clumsy. It does not fit the pacing of the game.

The reality of the current situation is that the game is quite fast paced. Whether you live or die often happens in the timespan of less than a second. That's why it's all the more jarring that any movement regarding prone is extremely slow.

If you're a player who is able to perform at the current pacing, you'll without a doubt have noticed that some movements are slower than others. Standing up and getting into a ready position is slow. Diving into prone and getting into position is slow as well. This obvious delay where your gun doesn't fire that prevents you from responding to the threats around you.

It's not that you're doing something that would prevent you from shooting. It's that the game is just arbitrarily preventing you from shooting. It's a matter of a few hundreds of milliseconds, but it's quite noticeable none the less.

So I'm not asking for much. I'm not asking for a soldier to stand up faster. I'm not asking for a soldier to dive to prone faster. I think that should take time. What I would like changed, is that if you're able to ADS and aim at your opponent, your gun should be able to shoot. Simple right?

You can already fire the moment you hit prone and you can shoot while going from crouch to standing while ADS. The only tiny delay is going from prone to crouch, and that’s intentional to stop instant pop-up shots. I dont see what the point of this post is?

Yeah, you'd think that's the case when you test it, but have you never noticed that you go prone and your gun just doesn't want to fire? Going from prone to standing is very reproduceable though.
