Re: Security Requirements on BF6 on PCs!

This decision made by which ever team or manager is a bad one and the community was not involved in the decision, It's locking half the pc community out of the game.

We are forced to start hunting for solutions, creating threads to figure out all the variable solutions and create more threads and it becomes such a mess, Gamers having to re-format drives and do security keys in bios ect..

Just use Kernel level like other anti-cheats.

Most anti cheats still have an extreme amount of hackers and most pcs sold in the last 5 years have tpm 2.0 and secure boot

Its extremely easy to update if you use youtube

    It's already a kernel-level anti-cheat, just like every other anti-cheat solution.

Setting up Secure Boot is easy, just look up at a guide for your motherboard/system.

Battlefield 2042 uses the same anti cheat. It also requires secure boot.

Why do you fools keep complaining about secure boot? Like I get you could be dual booting, but is it REALLY that hard to just enroll your os's keys? Like why on earth is running a script that hard if you are dual booting? If you are not dual booting, why do you care?

I'll definitely say it 100% put me off from the game. My PC launches with CSM, but supports UEFI. But, in order to launch UEFI in order to have Secure Boot on, I'd need to switch my SSD and HDD to GPT format from MBR.

Just doing all that ain't worth it for an anti-cheat that isn't gonna work anyways. I'll take my money and time elsewhere.

It's not that hard changing MBR to GPT, anyone can do it on an afternoon for 1-2 hours, at most.

For anyone else who's willing to do the conversion this is the best guide on the matter:
