That would be the expected solution from a company with knowledge. If I don't alter any settings in a verified game mode, I should get the chance to progress. If I alter settings to my benefit (more life / scripts) it shouldn't give me progression.
They are unable to modify the portal settings to divide or detect it, that is alarming.
