I am a casual BR player and I really like REDSEC, but specifically the Battle Royale Initiation. I like the smaller map, and the fact that it feels slower and less chaotic from only 48 players instead of the full 100. It's also great that REDSEC's modes are F2P, which allows my friends to try-before-you-buy. Please keep and/or make more "Initiation" (casual) modes.
Maybe I'll give it another try. First time I played initiation I was insta-killed by slide-cancelling sweats right off rip and then immediately on redeploy. Figured I might as well be playing the regular version if high skill players are just going to farm initiation.
I have definitely had games like that too! 😅 But overall the 16 humans and the rest of the slots filled with bots, coupled with the smaller overall map size has resulted in shorter and enjoyable games. I only play duos with a friend though, so I cannot comment on what the experience is like being partnered up with random other folks.
