Recon class needs more

I usually don't post on forums. Most of the time feels like I get ignored. However since the devs have listened to some players feedback I figured I would give it ago. 

I've always played Recon in all the battlefields. I've been trying to get to grips with this recon. However since removing respawn becon it just feels underwhelming. My opinion is maybe have the drone on a recharge so I'm not chasing down a support to resupply my drone. Like I have to bring it back and pick it up to recharge it. If battery dies in field then your s.o.l. 

Also more throwables. I really think recon should get a smoke grenade. What's the point in giving me C4 if I can't sneak to a vehicle. 

Maybe instead of a respawn becon maybe like a tactical insertion which lets you spawn near. Not exactly where you died. Just so I don't have to run miles to get to my dirty sniper spot.

If you giving recon a spec ops sub class may make them proficient in a close range weapon as well as a sniper ....

Or just split recon into 2 classes instead. Sniper class and spec ops class .....
