Refund stuck for 1 day - duplicate purchase, tool broken (Case #957205929)

Hi, I accidentally purchased Battlefield 6 twice and have been trying to get a refund for over a day with no success.

What I've tried so far:

1. EA Help Refund Tool - the submission gets stuck on a loading screen after clicking "Confirm and Submit" and never completes.

2. EA NextStep chat bot - the session keeps ending unexpectedly every time I try.

3. Submitted two separate cases through EA Help (Case #957205929 and #944888320) - no response from an agent on either case after more than a day.

I purchased the game twice by mistake, and one of the copies has never been launched, so this should qualify for a refund under EA's standard policy. I just can't get the request to actually go through due to technical issues on EA's side.

Could a Community Manager or EA staff member please help escalate this, or let me know the correct way to get a working refund request submitted?

Thank you.

  • Hi KOR_MILDUCK,

Since refunds can't be provided through these forums, as it's something that EA Help handles, it'd probably be best to get in touch with them to ask for an update on your cases.  Give the link below a try with the following steps:

    Your EA Help support options

    1. Choose "Refund request" for the first box.
    2. Enter "Battlefield 6" in the next box.
    3. Now enter your platform.
    4. Finally, enter a description of the issue (in this case, something like "status of refund request" should work), and click the "Submit" button.

When I tried this a moment ago, I was offered a live chat. However, the contact option shown to you might be different depending on the language you have selected on the EA Help site, agent availability and so on.

Hi ElliotLH, thanks for the help! I followed those exact steps and got to the "Chat with us" option, but it just gave me another case number (#823787430) and said an advisor would email me - same as before.

I now have 3 separate cases open (#957205929, #944888320, #823787430) and it's been 5 days since my original purchase with no response on any of them. The refund tool itself has also been stuck/broken every time I try to submit through it.

One more odd thing: none of these case numbers show up under "My Cases" in my EA Help account, even though each one gave me a confirmation screen with a case number. Could that mean the cases weren't actually created properly on EA's end?

Is there any other way to actually reach a live agent, or any way you could help escalate this on your end? I have clear proof of the duplicate charge (two separate ₩40,000 orders on the same day) if that helps.

    Thanks again for your time.
