Remove little-bird from Manhatton Bridge Conquest /All small maps\

Little Bird pilots are almost entirely untouchable if they play even moderately safe. The current meta on small maps is incredibly predictable and infuriating to play against.

Step 1: Fly in fast, use the skyscrapers for cover, and farm kills.

Step 2: Take a single hit or even just start getting locked onto.

Step 3: Immediately retreat back into the spawn area.

Step 4: (The HQ Shield) The moment they cross that line, they are completely safe. If another pilot tries to pursue them to finish the kill, the enemy HQ defence system almost always instantly drops the pursuer.

Step 5: (The Invisible Wall) You can't even try to finish them off from the ground with a well-timed rocket. The moment your missile reaches the HQ zone boundary, it just detonates in mid-air.

Step 6: Sit safely in the spawn to auto-heal/Get ammo, then repeat until the match ends.

Why Small Maps Suffer Most

On massive, open maps, this isn't as much of an issue because there is plenty of airspace to hunt them down and have a little dogfight with them, before they run away to the HQ boundary. But on dense maps like Manhattan Bridge, the distance to safety is way too short. They just dip behind a building, cross the line, and let the game's automated defences and projectile blockers protect them while they repair, get ammo. It turns the match into a one-sided farming simulator for sweaty pilots.

Playing like this doesn't mean the pilot is good. Literally anyone can do this. It takes zero actual dogfighting or evasion skill to farm infantry and retreat behind an invisible shield the second you are challenged. Honestly, there is a higher chance of them crashing into a building than an actual player shooting them down.

  • I disagree about the skill needed to pull off that kind of maneuvering but 100% agree with removing little bird. On small maps there should only be light vehicles at most

  • Manhattan shouldn't have air.  It sounds cool, and looks cool 1 game out of 100 when a good pilot is actually flying in between buildings.  Every other time it is just suffering against a helo you can never shoot down because you get about .2 seconds of vision as it flies down behind buildings.  Completely counters lock on AA, which is... well, SHOULD BE... the counter to air.

This decision was made by someone who has absolutely no clue how the game actually plays.
