Reporting hypocrisy at its finest.
I’ve had a player antagonize me throughout a match, calling me names, calling me slurs, threats of SAing my mother. It’s an online game, I’m a big boy, my feelings aren’t hurt. So I let it slide. Eventually I start giving it back to the player. No slurs or threats, but insults. Calling him garbage at the game, telling him to take his sorry butt to COD. Don’t give it if you can’t take it. This dude reports me. I get banned for seven days. Are you kidding me? Does reporting not review the entirety of the conversation? I tried appealing to EA. It apparently takes 10 days to respond, however, my ban is only 7. It won’t help for them to respond after it’s already been resolved. I talked to an Advisor over live chat. One refused to provide me the username. Then another advisor told me to talk to the Terms of Service team to get the username.
Jesus Christ dude. I’m one of the friendliest players out there. I play the objective, do my role diligently, have great conversations with other players, even the enemy through text chat. Even complimenting them when they kill me. And I get banned for insulting a guy who been messing with me for like 30 minutes straight? I’m sick and tired of EA’s BS. This is why they all say EA is money hungry and terrible with their customers.
