Season 1 was disappointing...and some advice..and some..

Battlefield's greatness lies in its superb atmosphere of war. Cooperation between classes and excellent visuals create an unparalleled gaming experience. For me, Battlefield 6 is overall a case where the flaws do not overshadow the merits. However, some things are indeed quietly eroding that battlefield experience.

  1. The Absence of Pre-Battle Briefings.
Some might say, "Oh, Battlefield 3 and 4 didn't have them either, that doesn't stop them from being great." True, but BF3 and BF4 had real-world nations as a backdrop. Battlefield 6 only has a fictional premise: the NATO Coalition vs. Pax Armata. Frankly, I don't understand why these two groups are fighting. This greatly reduces my immersion while playing. At least you could add a pre-battle briefing to tell us why we fight. The current game is like a large-scale Team Deathmatch. No one knows why we're here. We only know we must kill players from the other side, respawn, and repeat. This strips the game of its unique, signature charm. Deployment animations also need improvement. Take the map "Liberation Peak" for example. Both factions' HQs have long convoys of trucks. Imagine riding in a transport truck through Tajikistan's mountains. Several soldiers sit beside you. The radio plays the mission objectives and a pre-battle morale boost. The truck arrives, everyone dismounts, forms up, and deploys. This is far more engaging than the current deployment animation.
  2. Removal of the Immersive Deployment.
Starting with Battlefield 1, a unique redeployment experience was added. Upon death, the camera transitions to a bird's-eye view of the live battlefield. When redeploying, it zooms down to a newly deployed soldier. This redefined "redeployment." It wasn't resurrection, but another soldier sent into the fray. This mechanic continued through Battlefield 2042. Beyond atmosphere, it had great practical value. First, the overhead perspectivelet me assess troop distribution and the battle's flow. Second, the direct zoom to the ground was better than the current animation. I didn't have to spin around to get my bearings, allowing faster re-engagement. I don't understand why this excellent, three-game feature was abruptly removed.
  3. Vehicle Interaction with the Environment.
Battlefield 6's destruction is the most chaotic and spectacular in the series. But regarding vehicle-environment interaction, immersion-breaking issues remain. When jets perform extremely low-altitude passes, they should kick up massive dust. Trees should bend under the wind pressure. Skimming over water should create visible surface effects. Soldiers in the area should experience a screen effect like blurred vision. On "Liberation Peak," when a plane flies extremely low past trees between C and D, they don't even sway. This isn't an extravagant demand; it's about logical consistency. Missing these details is as absurd as brushing barbecue sauce onto charcoal. It defies common sense.

Now, my feelings as a player since launch. As a launch night pre-order player, I never expected a perfect game. I lowered my expectations, hoping you'd improve it into a great game. In the beta, I played 10+ hours a day. Despite issues, I said, "It's just a beta," "They have Battlefield Labs for testing," "Portal allows full XP custom games." And what did we get? Beta issues like blinding sun, dark interiors, poor visibility were promised fixes by Season 1 end. Now, radio silence. You ignored feedback. Air vehicle radars are still absent, promised for Season 2. Too late. It's like you removed the infantry minimap for a whole season. Gaudy, misleadingly advertised specialist skins. Do you think any soldier would wear bright yellow or red clown outfits? Your trailers promised a grounded style. The store sells skins that are neither tactical nor cool. Who would pay for this junk? If you want my money, don't be two-faced. Air-to-air missiles were removed after a bug made them ignore countermeasures, then re-enabled unfixed. That was a disastrous night. Air combat became a "who-sees-who-first" point-and-click game. If that was your promise of realism, I guess you delivered. (Laughs) Portal mode restrictions stifle creativity. No favorites feature; you can't save servers, only memorize codes. I've seen creative Portal maps limited by constraints. Don't you know a creative workshop could vastly increase variety and replayability? Let this ecosystem grow freely. You wouldn't need to worry about few season maps—the community would make them. You wouldn't need to worry about unsatisfying skins—the community would create them. All you'd need is a vote for popular, theme-appropriate items. You should have spent Season 1 making positive Portal updates. Instead, we got nearly a season of反复 tweaks to Portal XP. You fought XP farmers. This could have been avoided if progression wasn't so harsh. I understand wanting to reduce XP farms for normal players. But you promised full XP for Portal. What happened? You could have set a per-match XP cap instead of broad cuts. Result? You wasted most of a season, alienating players. No beneficial Portal changes. Trust betrayed. Hearts broken.

That's all for now. If you truly care about this community, and not just empty words, prove it.
