Separate Sensitivity Settings for 1st and 3rd Person Vehicle Views

Hello,

I’d like to provide feedback regarding vehicle aiming sensitivity, particularly for tanks and other ground combat vehicles.

Currently, there is a drastic difference in sensitivity between first-person and third-person views, while the game only provides one shared sensitivity slider that affects both.

By default, the sensitivity is extremely low — to the point where I need to move my mouse across the entire desk just to rotate the turret 180°. After adjusting the sensitivity to around 150, the first-person view feels much better and allows for precise aiming while still being naturally limited by turret rotation speed, as intended for tanks.

However, when switching to third-person view, the same sensitivity value becomes far too high, causing the camera to spin uncontrollably fast. Since there’s no option to configure first- and third-person sensitivities separately for vehicles, players are forced to choose between a comfortable first-person experience or a usable third-person view — but not both.

This issue has existed since the Beta, and I’ve seen many players discussing it on Reddit and other forums.

Please consider adding separate sensitivity settings for vehicle aiming in first- and third-person views. It would greatly improve the overall control and experience for tank players and vehicle enthusiasts.

Thank you for your attention and hard work on the game.

Best regards,

  • It's a joke to have this kind of problem with one of EA's biggest releases. Something simple to solve, yet the settings are absurdly complicated.

Another serious problem has been the random black borders vision on the screen, which appears and disappears frequently.

It had been years since I bought a game at launch. I will NEVER do it again.

  • I agree about the settings being very complicated and how this shouldn’t be happening. There’s two vehicle aim in vehicle, aiming sensitivity for the mouse and their independent but seem to do the same thing and they’re locked to each other.

If you change the one at the main menu, then the one in the controls under tanks gets turned down, but it’s a lot to be ahead of the other one. They both have the same exact description and seem to do the same thing.
