Shotgun reload cancel is not working
One of the most crucial features of a shotgun is to partially reload it and continue shooting. However, this is not working at all in BF6.

I find this vexing as well. you should not have to wait to load all the individual shells into the magazine before you can fire, but I guess they are doing it for game balance is my guess
It does work it just feels like it doesn't because it now forces you to load at least 1 more shell before allowing you to fire to cancel the reload.
I don't think it has ever worked properly in Battlefield 6.
Personally I Just swap to pistol/equipment like paddles or blow torch, I can't recall if melee works to cancel the reload.
