Feedback on weapons grip animation

Hello everyone, I'm really enjoying the game and because of that I would like to leave some feedback here on weapons animation to let developers know about some issue on weapon grip. Hopefully devs team will see and address these issue cause the attention to details is something that makes good game like BF6 even better.

This game has already the thumb-over-bore (C-clamp) grip on some weapons. However, , it’s disappointing that DICE only applies this grip to a few weapons when no attachments are equipped. Once an angled foregrip, stubby grip, flashlight, or laser is attached, the hand changes position.

1. M433 with ribbed stubby and no laser attachment:

This is the C-Clamp grip and it is great that it is in the game.

2. M433 with ribbed stubby and laser added:

This is what should be a vertical foregrip grip not a stubby or angled foregrip. On a small stubby would be very uncomfortable.

3. M433 with folding stubby and laser added:

The game has already a grip that is used for the folding stubby and it kinda works better with lasers than the 2.

4. M4A1 with angle grip and handguard.

The hand does not even touch the handguard and goes full grip on the angled. This is not how it should be a grip on angled. Also, you had an handguard an dont even touch it.

5. There is another grip used only with M27 IAR with laser and handguard:

This is a good grip to use with an handguard. I think the last one (5) should be applied to all stubby and angled grip (at least this one!).

Since stubby are small and used with the thumb-over-bore grip (c-clamp), I'm pretty sure there should be a wrong animation going on. This applies to all stubby grip except folding stubby.

My hope is that DICE keeps the 1. and 5. pictures grips style for all angled foregrips, stubby grips, flashlights, or lasers on the weapon’s top and side rail. I hope these feedbacks help the team so that can be fixed soon.

Hello, this looks like it’s been 4 months but I do 100% agree what you said the “c clamp” grip on the weapon should be allowed in all weapon or a feature to change animation of how you’re holding a weapon. The “c clamp” must improve the recoil of your weapon as it prevents you from going ballistic but what they’re doing is quite the opposite. I have been honestly just rocking the drs iar for every game I play and honestly I don’t care how my weapon stats looks but as long as my weapons looks tactical and awesome and of course with the “c clamp” grip Im clearing rooms and hallways like a special forces.

With my DRS IAR build I found my character holding a full c clamp grip I have

    • Green laser (10pts)
    • stubby grip (30pts) the shorter one
    • Suppressor (20pts) sometimes I switch it with the (25pts) suppressor
    • short barrel (15pts)
    • holographic (10pts)
    • light magazine ammo (10pts) just so I move fast because for whatever reason they want the DRS IAR as a LMG although it should consider as AR

With this attachment you’ll be able to use the full c clamp grip

p.s. I only play hardcore conquest as it is close to a milsim
