Re: What have you done to movement DICE?!?

Doubt any community managers will see this but here it is anyway..

I am fed up. It is hard enough being an aggressive player in this game yet now it has become near impossible. It disappoints me that DICE is catering to players who would be better suited to Arma than true Battlefield. They have complained now it is my turn. BF6 barely had any advanced movement and things such as the bunny hop and slide were highly penalized and balanced making them extremely situational. Now with this nerf we are truly in the stagnant window camp era. If DICE truly wants a competitive scene in Battlefield you need movement abilities such as the pre nerf slide and the bunny hop to expand the possibilities and options to players. Enders lays it out well. For the first time in ages Battlefield can reclaim its glory from the BF4 days but only if you can cater to agressive playstyles too.

Please revert these changes as window camping is not for me and never has been since Battlefield 4 on the Xbox 360. Just let us move

What is more entertaining? watching play like this or people holding corners?

The slide was never meant as an aggressive tool, you and many others abused it for agressive play when it was meant to be defensive.

Abused it? This game has the slowest movement in any recent BF title. Slide movement was one of the only movement based techniques that could be used to break cameras or dart back into cover. When combined with the insane sway and accuracy penalties applied when moving if you die to a player bunny hopping you should blame your positioning not the game. Also weapon recoil effects your sensitivity which makes tracking aim much harder. Perhaps if DICE had fixed that properly we would not be having this conversation

Battlefield was never a run and gun game, if you want that go play COD. I hear the latest COD is really great and everyone loves it. You can jump to your hearts content!

Which part of BF3 and BF4 had sliding?
Honestly I also use the slide and jump to relocate more safely, but I draw the line in shooting while in the process.
If BF is supposed to be getting more arcade, I also want the super fast turning tank turrets of BF3 and 4 that could clip through the tank model to aim lower.

Call of duty did not have sliding either when I switched from Ghosts to Battlefield 4. These days sliding is a part of the FPS genre as a whole. Its just annoying having people complaining about bunny hopping and sliding by aggressive players and calling it 'abuse' yet we put up with those kinds of players hiding in rocks scavenging kills. The irony is I have over 3100 revives and over 1500 objectives captured yet back to cod I must go😂
