Which part of BF3 and BF4 had sliding?
Honestly I also use the slide and jump to relocate more safely, but I draw the line in shooting while in the process.
If BF is supposed to be getting more arcade, I also want the super fast turning tank turrets of BF3 and 4 that could clip through the tank model to aim lower.
Call of duty did not have sliding either when I switched from Ghosts to Battlefield 4. These days sliding is a part of the FPS genre as a whole. Its just annoying having people complaining about bunny hopping and sliding by aggressive players and calling it 'abuse' yet we put up with those kinds of players hiding in rocks scavenging kills. The irony is I have over 3100 revives and over 1500 objectives captured yet back to cod I must go😂

Clearly it is not abuse if it is working as intended.
But it does look janky in BF games, like seeing a Galapagos tortoise suddenly accelerate to 50km/h for 3 meters then jumping up while turning and midair and growing cannons from its shell and firing at you.
Also I still have some trauma over this in BFV

Enders thankfully explained to me this person was just using a bug related to the katana here and it was not a normal situation
