Sniper Aim Assist

Aim assist on snipers NEEDS to be turned down for snipers by default. The aim assist is so strong when sniping it doesn’t allow for proper aim & target acquisition; especially when multiple targets are on screen. I aim at one player and my crosshairs get pulled off them to another player, and then another person runs by. Even with single targets the slowdown and snap make it really difficult to make the adjustment for a headshot. In order to get sniping that’s similar to past titles I have to go through the headache of changing all my aim assist settings. However, this then completely ruins using a regular gun. Please fix this! I want to be able to both snipe and use the other guns in the game without having to go through this long process to enjoy the gameplay.

  • Aim assist needs to be disabled for anyone who isn't afflicted with an actual disability that prevents them from competitive aiming. Back in the day, nobody needed aim assist on a controller to snipe, you just learned to play.

  • Just tone down the aim assist or turn it off.  I noticed the same thing so I turned it off.  Problem solved.  Aim assist is for players that aren't good anyways.  You'll never get better with it on
