The problem is (and always has been) that there is a MASSIVE difference between someone just getting into any aircraft and a slightly seasoned pilot. It's WAY too easy for a seasoned pilot to flare, evade, drop below the hard limit for tracking, and repair. It almost always has been. Unfortunately, they always balance for the noob pilot, who doesn't or can't do those things well because they haven't earned it or learned the maps, so they easily get shot down early on. Then they come in here and complain about how anti-air is too powerful. Meanwhile, after I decided to try the IGLA challenge finally, my friends jumped on to try to help. With 4 of us (and a number of other engi's running anti-air, we couldn't take down a single pilot even if we coordinated well and had snipers painting. It's just broken, and it's like this nearly every BF game for a LONG time.
