As the title says, I’d love to see the reintroduction of solo/co-op modes from 2042 since I’m someone who would rather play games on my own and the portal servers are extremely difficult to get into. Trying to start a portal game is genuinely awful, I’ve been sat around for upwards of 20 minutes just pressing the “host” button trying to play the game.
Cant even host normal servers in portal with no bots, just constantly get global game quota exceeded
i don't know why the option for solo conquest was not included like 2042, i love the game but it's hard as hell with some many sweats and people just dominating with tanks, i wish they would allow for solo conquest.
I didn't even realise it wasn't included until I purchased the game, I just assumed it would be in the game.
Why step something backwards with a new iteration of a newer game?
With battlefield 2042 my girl actually got into it because of solo conquest and break through now we can only do it with portal. One if you were gonna introduce an upgrade to portal you should’ve added more servers. Two as the comment said above why take a back step and take a solo game mode out of the new integration. Ive been playing since bf3 I tried to play the new ones but with how sweaty people have gotten and how bad cheating has gotten when 2042 released solo/co-op i was like great because there was custom difficulty’s for the bots they don’t even have that anymore but now that everyone wants to do a xp farm server everyone else that wants to enjoy the game they’re way gets screwed I spammed host for two hours. No lie. My thumb hurt man… just quit neglecting a certain player base…
Trying to play with my wife with bots but can't now because can't even host a server. If you host a server locally no one else can join and can't even make a server due to the bot farms everywhere. I would refund but now I can't. EA add more servers you **bleep**in cheap **bleep**, did you not make enough profit from this game?
This is the last Battlefield that my son and i am buying, so many cheaters in game and nothing has been done to stop it. Can't use portal because of the ridiculous Global Server Quota Ecxeeded error. There is no co/op mode which my son prefers to play. Just a complete waste of money.
Yeah this was a dumb decision. Put the big "Solo/Co-Op <game mode>" button back already. The couple of times I have been able to spin up a new instance (take your global game quota and cram it) it doesn't populate your own squad with bots like 2042 either, OR you find you spun up a version that only runs on one map, or no vehicles, or some other silly thing that you go AAAAAAAAWHYYYYY at. At least tell us this will be coming back in the 10/28 update or something. A little comms on this would be useful.
Agreed, sometimes I'd like to play casually against bots away from PVP sweatiness, CoD players and cheaters. I'm just an average/casual player. I'm still playing BF2042 for the Solo/Co-Op modes. Portal is a mess with useless servers people have created.
I found that nobody really plays the Closed-Weapons modes. I've played a few matches against bots alone with like 2 or 3 real players occasionally. Try the Closed-Weapons playlists for now. Majority of players play the open playlists.
Not a huge fan of closed weapons but I suppose it’s better than nothing, thanks dude!
