BF3 the DMRs were recon only so they had the 1.2x <15m chest multiplier, made the M417 a one hit kill on a larger target not just the head and SKS a 2 shot. They were way more all rounded weapons which could stand there own if you could ADS quickly and hit your target.
M417 also had 50 dmg per shot with nearly double the RPM vs the SVK.
I understand they aren’t ment for CQC but outside they aren’t much special if you just look how much they got neutered since BF3, considering how much better/easier every other weapon became since BF3.
