I’m not sure if I can agree with this, overall it’s difficult to make this distinction purely on what little we have seen in a test build. We don’t really know in what state this build was, which features they might have disabled or toned down. There’s still months before release so you can’t really judge the game on these things in this stage.
As far as your comparisons to BF4, for me that was the ultimate game so I feel the sentiment. But at the same time I think it’s easy to remain stuck in that sentiment after over a decade of disappointment.
I want to feel the thrill and fun I had when I was playing BF4 again, but realistically I’m not the same person anymore, the gaming landscape isn’t the same anymore. Also, they have been trying to find their place in the FPS landscape for a long time and haven’t really been doing a good job at that, but BF6 is looking to have a good chance for Battlefield to become relevant again.
I for one am going to reserve my judgement until after release. Until then I’m just going to go with the flow and mostly focus on what they have not told us yet.
bf6 is more of a copy and paste from 2042 and added some more features, most things feels the same just different skins, back in the day, Every new battlefield is unique.
bf6 is leaning more closer to COD comparing to 2042(copying COD's testing range and gun menu UI, in bf4 you spawn on an island and can test vehicles too)
I don’t get it. First you are comparing it all to BF4, saying how the game has lost its identity. Then you’re saying that they don’t innovate and just copy everything from the last installment. I’m not sure what you’re actually looking for here?
And to be fair, they innovated a lot over each new installment, but most of it wasn’t really good and that’s where I agree that they lost their identity, trying to innovate on all the wrong things.

I agree, but what do you want them to innovate on? Because all your points basically say “make it like in BF4”. That wouldn’t be innovation either.
