Still a three friend party limit for BF6?

I agree its annoying, however you can still join your friends and then split squads if you are with 5+ people.
In the game menu go to social (Tab), Press F2 on the friend that's in the server and you can press join game. Hope this will help anyone currently facing this issue
That's not a solution either. The server only starts when it is full or almost full.
In addition, there are 10+ of us who want to play together.
A squad of 4 is fine. But it should be possible to link different squads together so that the entire group can join a specific server.Indeed. Squads of 4 is fine, but 'party' should be any size.
Now, I get that it might damage balancing. If it is the case that a balanced match cannot be found because of a party trying to join with all experts, for example, then it should put some on opposing teams.
I don't know if it's laziness or just control-freakery, but the 4-person party sucks.

Among all of the negative takes for BF2042, this was literally my most disliked part of 2042. I had a friend-group that regularly played every night, we'd chat on discord and play for a couple of hours. Once that group expanded to 5 or 6 people it absolutely sucked to be the last one or two people to login to play. You would end up spending half of the matches that the squad joined just looking at a queue screen while looking at your phone hoping to get in and that someone would crash or drop out (then you're just rolling the dice to figure out which team you would be on). Absolutely hated this.
Just tried it, but when i press the join game, nothings happens.
If it works It would seem like a good work around, but an easier way maybe would be better, like next til join party.Until people with actual voices in the space speak out, like JackFrags and other big streamers/YouTubers, it'll never be addressed.
And I find it weird because *surely* these big names also have big friend groups that suffer from this horrible 4-man party size limitation.
A dev actually posted on these forums in 2042's first year promising they would address it and years later, all that happened was that people were allowed to join on friends in full parties. Not a reliable solution AT ALL because you had to do it after EVERY SINGLE MAP CHANGE and SIT IN A FULL SERVER QUEUE. Let alone trying to actually find/stick together when everyone is just another blue dot.
Battlefront II had 10 man parties and anyone not in your squad was a yellow marker on the UI. Why did they do everything so correctly decades ago and just go backwards on basic **bleep** features?There really should be a way to make a party of for example 8 players and being able to join a server together. When arriving in the server the squad should then be devided into 2 groups of 4. Even better would be thst you can choose your own split in the lobby in advance so you can choose who plays with who. It can't be that hard to implement... When your party is bigger then possible for the game you are joining there should be a message you can't join that server or game
