Banned for no reason

Sorry to hear that you're still waiting to hear back from your appeal on the account ban. 

If you followed these steps to create an appeal, your case is with the right team! The team's response time will vary depending on the number of cases they are actively investigating, but they'll get back to you through email as soon as there are updates for your case.

In the meantime, you can keep an eye on the status of the appeal(s) on your case history page. If the status is Transferred or Waiting on Studio, then the appeal is still under review and has been passed along to the best team for the case. This means it may take a little longer than otherwise to hear back. Please avoid resuming the appeal(s) until you receive a response to prevent any additional delays. We appreciate your patience while they're taking a look! 

And guess what….all they will say is you violated their terms. With no proof and no clear reason. Happened to me before. 99.9% of the time I don’t voice chat, and somehow I violated terms. So silly. EA for you.

It would be nice if a clear reason was given. I was banned for seven days awhile back and still have no clue why. Both responses where a generic, I violated terms of agreement, don’t use voice almost exclusively, no streaming. Still no reason.

Author of this post,  I'm in the same situation as you are.   Long time player and supporter, never cheated, never played with a cheater, never had any infractions or penalties for 20 plus years.   Boom ...permanant ban on bf6 "only" no other games.  This is a EA problem specifically for bf6 they will not address.  Ill keep stating this to support the community that is wronged like this author and myself.  Not to say I'm sure there are cheaters complaining about getting caught... but with my track history.. gameplay.. ban history.. this is the only game ever to have this happen.... including playing other kernel level anti cheat games like valorant.  This doesn't make sense.  There is zero explanation ... no explained reason.... and I can easily prove there is nothing wrong on my end but EA Doesn't seem to care... Community manager... you keep directing these complaints to the appeal system automatically.. its not working!!  Patience??  My appeal has been in "waiting on studio"  for months.  Its broken ... there is no help.. this kind of service is going to lose your most loyal fan base.... not to mention the ignoring the community on other key areas of bf6.

Hey TogyDon​, I'm afraid the team doesn't disclose specific violations to prevent people from misusing that information to circumvent our policies. I understand it likely isn't your intent, and it can be frustrating to not know what you were actioned for, but I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about that system here on the forums. The best thing to do in this case is to familiarize yourself with our Positive Play Charter and User Agreement, and use those resources to narrow down the reason.

izzi7​ Sorry to hear that you've been waiting on that response for some time. The Waiting on Studio appeals tend to take longer because they've been transferred to a more specialized department that can best review the case. I can assure you that as long as your case isn't marked as Closed or Fixed, it is being investigated and has not been forgotten! As mentioned in a previous reply, please avoid resuming the case to avoid any additional delays. 

We don't have the necessary tools or records to support those requests here on the forums, which is why we direct players who disagree with their account action to our appeal system. Submitting an appeal is the only way to address an account action, and it sends your request for another review of the sanction to our Terms of Service team for investigation.

It's always the same old story from the whiny cheaters... "I was banned unfairly"... Understand one thing: if you were BANNED it's because you used something, whether it's cheats on your PC, or pen drives with cheats (like on YouTube where they claim to be Pro cheats), or if you use Zen Cronus/XIM on consoles, that's all cheating!!! And stop saying you're innocent!! It only tarnishes your shame even more!! Congratulations on being banned.... I LOVED IT

So this is "acceptable"?  For this to be in an evaluation state for months? It sounds like the help system and TOS evaluation is broken.   Obviously they(assuming it's automated like everything else) can't figure out why its an issue,  because there is no issues on my end.  This should not have happened in the first place.   I understand you're obligated to respond with statements that you have to stick to.  But what is an acceptable time when it comes to customer service?  It's been months that I can't play a game I paid for and did nothing wrong playing.  How long is ok?  6 months?  Year?  How is that acceptable in any product?

@ radio, so this is a silly response. I know that it’s easy just to say every one banned was cheating, but I was on console when this happened. Still to this day I haven’t the slightest clue what I did. @ EA_mrplsnow, that is the same response I got from the appeals system. I’ve read the rules. Reading them again does not help. Maybe just having a date and time of infraction would help? If not this system is ok but not good enough.

The more factual information you include that supports your innocence, the stronger your case. 
There isn't a definite time frame for appeal reviews, especially those with the 'Waiting for studio' status, as it depends on the number of actively investigated cases and how backlogged the team is. I'm afraid there isn't anything we can do for you on the forums, as we don't have access to the records or tools that ToS or the studios do for such reviews. 

TogyDon​ If it's any help, I'd assume account action notifications are pretty immediate relative to the time of infraction. That, generally and personally speaking, would make the most sense. Unfortunately, we don't have access to the actual details and can't discuss account-specific information here on the forums. Again, reading the rules over is just to have a better idea of what the violating action could be, and to have more ground to build those appeals. 

I've pretty much given up on EA customer support at this point. Its the most atrocious customer service I've ever gotten. No words can describe this horrendous customer support system EA has setup. I've been trying for multiple weeks to get in contact with someone from the TOS team about my FALSE BAN and after all this time I'm still getting chat bots and automated responses. This is just ridiculous at this point.

In all my efforts of trying to appeal every time I submit a case it just gets thrown out the window and is lost and forgotten about. I've been told to submit the same form I've been filling out to get in contact with the TOS team and the same thing happens where the case never gets submitted and redirects me to a self serve support article, there is no clear indication that the case was ACTUALLY submitted and they will contact you. From the times I did by some miracle get in contact with an EA advisor they just tell you the same thing to submit a case. Its like a never ending cycle for me. 

1. Submit case
2. Case doesn't actually get sent to TOS team but rather shows you a self serve page
3. Somehow contact an EA advisor (if its even a real person)
4. They tell you to repeat steps 1 and 2

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else but its pretty much impossible for me to submit a case for the TOS team to take a look at it. I just don't know what to do anymore.... 

I've also made a video of what happens when I submit the case, so if I'm doing something wrong someone please tell me because I'm beyond frustrated.
