It’s unacceptable that EA App players still haven’t received the compensation that was publicly promised. When a company makes a statement offering compensation or in-game rewards for an issue, that forms part of the implied terms of service under consumer protection laws, meaning they’re obligated to honor what was advertised / Deliver what was promised to customers.
I’d recommend:
1 ) Filing a support ticket through EA Help ( AGAIN ) Reference the original statement or post where compensation was mentioned.
2 ) Taking screenshots of the promise (social posts, patch notes, etc.) That’s evidence.
3 ) Escalating the issue via EA’s official complaint route if support doesn’t resolve it.
4 ) If they still don’t honor it, file a complaint with your local consumer protection body (like the UK’s CMA, the US FTC, or Australia’s ACCC).
AND I would recommend anyone who is effected by this to do the same, If you also have some kind of proof of your down time it would also help.
