Suggestion – Visual recognition of friends in-game

I would like to suggest an improvement to enhance the group play experience.

I often play with a group of more than four friends, and it would be very convenient to highlight friends connected through the launchers (EA App, Steam, etc.) with a dedicated color, so they can be recognized even if they are not in the same squad.

Currently, Battlefield allows parties of up to 4 players, since squads are limited to 4 members. This makes it difficult to play together and coordinate well. We have to split into multiple parties and often cannot even join the same match. Even if we join the same match, we can clearly see only our own squad members.

My main request is the ability to visually recognize friends even if they are in different squads.

A feature like "merge squads" could be added, only visually, using a dedicated color, without giving any squad advantages (like respawn or bonus points). Simply a visual merge.

Additionally, if technically possible, it would also be useful to allow larger parties (5-8 players or more) that can join the same match and be automatically distributed into different squads while staying on the same team.

This would be a small change, but it would greatly improve the experience for larger groups, making Battlefield more enjoyable and enhancing teamwork.
