It definitely does nees to be fixed.
I had a discussion in another post and I evetually made these points after I was inspired. I thought they were pretty good:
Bullet suppression:
- Slight grey vignette (squinting).
- Slight gun wobble while aiming (flinching).
- Delay health regeneration.
- Low AoE.
Explosive suppression:
- Slight black vignette (squiting from dusty explosion (makes it distinct)).
- Delay health regeneration.
- Delay gadget / tactical items recovery from supply boxes each time, and as long as, the suppression is detetced. But no delay after stopping suppression.
- High AoE.
These two could be combined if both happen at the same time or sequentially either way. You can stack everything but don't double up on health regeneration delay; that's phucked. Just keep that normal.
Also, I'd consider making the supression mechanics outside close quarter range to remove excessivness. Possibly keep it at the mid ranges and on...
Honestly, if this was added and they improved map size, and fixed mortars, BF6 would be top tier. 🤌
